Pokeweed Allegory (Grip and the Nevermore Raven with Respective Badgers) was part of Lush Life, an exhibition of Samantha Simpson's work at The Philadelphia Art Alliance. The exhibitions took place from October 2004 to January 9th 2005. Lush Life also included Peony, Ophelia 2, Mythologizing Back and two smaller works on paper.
